INFORMATION LETTER
Dear Parents,
Be sure your kids have
the greatest summer ever by joining us at Avalanche Ranch: A Wild
Ride Through God’s Word! You’ll find plenty of adventure at our
Ranch!
Each day your children
will be part of fun Bible learning they can see, hear, touch, and
even taste. Bible Point crafts, team-building games, lively Bible
songs and tasty treats are just a few of the Avalanche Ranch
activities that help faith grow into real life. Kids will even
choose a Daily Challenge for each day – an exciting way to live out
what they’ve learned at VBS at home.
As kids learn about
God’s love, they’ll also enjoy hands-on Bible Adventures and daily
video visits from Chadder Chipmunk (Since everything is hands-on,
kids might get a little messy. Be sure to send them in play clothes
and safe shoes.) Your kids will even participate in a hands-on
mission project called Operation Kid-to-Kid that involves nearly a
million children across North America.
Avalanche Ranch
is great fun for children of all ages – from Preschool through 5th
Grade – kids will love it. 6th and 7th graders are invited to be a
part of the celebration, too. They can sign up to help as crew
leaders and earn service hours for Confirmation. Parents are
invited to join us each day at 7:40 pm because that’s when we’ll be
having Showtime Roundup
– a daily celebration of God’s love you won’t want to miss.
So mark these dates on
your calendar: July 16–20, 2007. The celebration starts at 5:00 pm
with a small dinner for the children, activities will begin at 5:30
pm and will end at 8:00 pm. The registration fee is $20.00 for the
first child and $15.00 for each additional child. If you have any

Operation Kid-to-Kid Project this year is making fleece stuffed
Prayer Bears for children who are in need. Each kit makes two
Prayer Bears and costs $2.00. The children attending VBS will be
putting these bears together. If you would like to help by making a
donation to this project please send the money in by June 1st,
2007. Thank you for your help!

OTHER RANCH INFO
Register Online
We invite all children 3
years old through 5th grade to join us. Students currently in the
6th and 7th grade can join us as crew leaders and earn service hours
for Confirmation. Our program starts at 5:00 pm with a small dinner
for the children, activities begin at 5:30 pm and come to a close at
8:00pm. Some activities may be a little messy so please remember to
dress your children in play clothes.

you are interested in helping us at our "Ranch" this summer, please
let us know. We are always looking for new faces to join our team
and of course we always welcome back any "old" faces who just can't
stay away from the fun!
