INTERVIEW QUESTIONS

 


1.                  Who is God?

God is our Father who loves and cares for us. 

2.                  Who is Jesus?

Jesus is the Son of God. 

3.                  What does the Holy Spirit do?

The Holy Spirit helps us to love God and each other. 

4.                  What is the Blessed Trinity?

The Blessed Trinity is one God in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. 

5.                  Who is Mary?

Mary is the mother of Jesus. 

6.                  What is Jesus’ law of love?

Love the Lord your God. Love others as you love yourself. 

7.                  What did Jesus do at the Last Supper?

Jesus took the bread and said, “This is my Body.”

Jesus took the wine and said, “This is my Blood.” 

8.                  Why did Jesus die on the cross?

Jesus died to show His love for us. 

9.                  What is the sacrament of Baptism?

Baptism is the sacrament in which we are freed from sin, become children of God and are welcomed as members of the Church. 

10.              What is the sacrament of Penance?

Penance is the sacrament in which we celebrate God’s love and forgiveness. 

11.              What is the Holy Eucharist?

The Holy Eucharist is the Body and Blood of Jesus.  We celebrate the Eucharist at Mass. 

12.              What is the Church?

The Church is the family of God.
