On October 28, 2006.
Washington Archbishop Donald Wuerl had a conversation
"Teaching the Faith:
Challenges and Opportunities" with area parish catechists and school
religion teachers at the Marriott Renaissance Hotel in Washington, DC.
Catechists from St. John's, along with Father Pollard and Father Russo
attended this special day-long convocation.

St. John's Youth Ministry
On Monday,
February 4, 2008, Archbishop Donald Wuerl celebrated the Confirmation
Mass for our 8th Grade students along with several students from Mount
Calvary. Priests from the Southern Prince Georges County Deanery,
including our own Fr. Pollard, Fr. McCann, and Fr. Russo were
concelebrants at this special Mass.
